Story Summary:
A Baby Sister for Frances follows Frances as she adjusts to life with a new sibling. At first, she feels overlooked—everyone seems busy with baby Gloria, and Frances worries that her parents don’t have time for her anymore. She even considers running away, packing a small bag and imagining life on her own. But as she watches her family care for the baby, Frances realizes she is still loved and has an important role to play. By the end, she returns home, proud to be a big sister and happy to be part of a family that needs her.
