What You’ll Teach Across 32 Weeks: You’ll have a full year of Grade 1 language activities, with one activity for every day of the week — Monday through Friday. These NO‑PREP tasks give your students quick, meaningful practice in punctuation, grammar, spelling, language, and reading comprehension. Each weekly section includes daily review and assessment activities that save you time and support consistent skill reinforcement, especially during busy transition times.
After each week, you’ll also have a Bonus Activity that adds fun and variety through word puzzles, vocabulary challenges, figurative language, and short reading tasks. Every bonus page ends with an interesting fact about Canada to keep students curious and engaged.
What You Teach Each Week
Activities 1–4 focus on:

- one targeted language or reading skill
Bonus Activity gives your students extended practice with:

Student Progress Chart
You can guide students through the Progress Chart by modelling how to complete it or offering individual support as needed.
Each week, your students will:
- record their daily scores for each Language Activity
- calculate their Total Score at the end of the week
- evaluate their performance at the end of every four‑week cycle
