The word “family,” in the dictionary, is described as a group of people consisting of parents and their children living in the same home. The traditional family has changed over the years. Today, different types of families are accepted and more prevalent. This resource is filled with ideas and worksheets that will stimulate the topic of family life today. The following skills will be strengthened and reinforced: listening skills, oral communication, written communication, creative expression, vocabulary recognition, phonetic sounds, and mathematical concepts. 🌍❤️Â
Students will:
- gain an understanding of the different family structures and the diversity and cultural
- differences found within families.
- develop respect for others who come from different backgrounds than themselves.
